002 | Strength in My Sobriety
In this episode, I tell you about my history with alcohol, how it brought me to a breaking point, and how I found strength in overcoming my addiction. While everyone’s vice is different, we all have our own ways of coping with hardships, stress, and more. When I got to my lowest point, I had to have an honest moment with myself, at which point, I asked myself certain questions:
- Is alcohol serving me in a positive way? (Spoiler alert, no.)
- How will my life look different without it?
- If that’s what I want my life to look like, what will it take to get there?
These questions were a jumping off point to put bigger changes in motion, and I think they’ll be really valuable for you for your own self-reflection, whether you’re considering your own relationship with alcohol or if your vice is entirely different.
